Somatic Dance (with Sincerely Somatic in Sask)
Alex uses expressive art and movement therapy as well as somatic techniques to integrate and explore the creative mind and the moving body. “Movement and personal expression have the power to reveal, heal and transform our bodies and our psyches”. These classes are for anyone interested in a “bottom-up” (body first) and a relational, experiential approach to healing. No previous experience in movement, somatics, dance, art, or therapy is required to take part in regular classes, only curiosity and an openness to personal discovery is needed. Every body is welcome (16+), and met exactly where they are at, because movements are based on personal expression and adaptations, modifications are always possible. Our space is inclusive, non-judgmental, and safe for ALL to explore their selves, at their own pacing, with full agency. |
Yoga for All (with handmade lemonade yoga)
Tonya's classes are for everyone, regardless of experience or flexibility! Classes mix standing, seated, and lying poses. Working on breath and meditation in every pose. Each class ends with deep relaxation to leave you feeling refreshed! Two classes a week to meet your schedule or to double up on your yoga!
